About me
Stephanie Lockhart has served as principal of Avon High School since 2022. Previously, she was assistant principal at Windsor High School (2018–2022), where she co-chaired the district equity team and led PLCs. From 2008–2018, she taught Social Studies, inspiring a love of history and civic engagement. She began her career in education in 2003 in non-certified roles. Stephanie has presented on equitable hiring and instructional strategies at CAS, NEASC, and NASSP. With a deep commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion and a focus on instructional leadership, she fosters an inclusive environment at Avon. She holds an Ed.D. in Educational Leadership.
