Dr. Keshia Smith-Davis a visionary educator and leader, has dedicated her career to fostering academic excellence and student success. Beginning as a substitute teacher in Yonkers, she advanced to teaching in Richmond, Virginia, and later served as assistant principal in Farmville before becoming principal of Great Plain Elementary in Danbury, Connecticut. Under her leadership, Great Plain earned the prestigious National Blue Ribbon School award in 2022 and was named a Connecticut School of Distinction for Academic Achievement and Growth for three consecutive years. Dr. Smith-Davis, honored as CAS Elementary Principal of the Year in 2023, continues to inspire through her commitment to educational excellence.
