About me
Luz was four years old when her parents moved to the US from Puerto Rico. As a multilingual learner, she experienced the challenges faced by the MLL population when access and inclusion are not prioritized in our mainstream classrooms. She became an educator by calling. She holds a BA in English, MA in TESOL and Sixth Year in Educational Leadership. As the recipient of numerous certifications and awards, she has been serving public school systems for more than 24 years delivering high-quality instruction, support as an instructional coach, leader and collaborator to help develop and inspire other leaders towards excellence in the field!
