About me
Dr. Jenn Byars, Superintendent of Amity Regional School District since 2018, is a seasoned educational leader with expertise in curriculum development, instructional leadership, and school administration. Previously, as Assistant Superintendent of Ledyard Public Schools (2014–2018), she spearheaded curriculum revision, technology integration, and professional development. Dr. Byars earned an Ed.D. in Administration and Supervision from the University of Virginia, focusing on differentiated instruction, and an M.Ed. in Curriculum & Instruction from Smith College, where she also completed her B.A. Her experience as a principal, science teacher, and coach provides her with a comprehensive understanding of education at all levels.
