Co-creating the Conditions Necessary for Deep Learning in Your School FILLING
Thursday March 27, 2025 12:20pm - 1:35pm PDT
A
This workshop focuses on the work of Jal Mehta, Michael Fullan, and others who express the need for collaborative transformation of schools to ensure passionate and purposeful learning for students and adults.   While district level direction can drive transformation, school leaders can also enact transformative change at the school level.  This workshop focuses on how to work within current conditions to lead transformation.  Participants will develop a definition of deep learning and identify both the school conditions and leadership actions that support its development.  Workshop experiences will lead the exploration of current research in this topic and allow participants to reflect on current practices.
